30 December, 2025 - - - there have been no major updates to Evenstar all year, aside from the usual housework (updating broken links, fixing tiny codes mistakes, etc); for which I can only apologise. 2025 has been a terribly difficult year, and I was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness which causes me to collapse from exhaustion on the regular -- it doesn't make for keeping one's website well-cared for, unfortunately. I'd love for this to change in the new year, but I've learned what happens when I make promises, so I won't -- I'll just say I will do my best. I've also been trying to untangle all things Tolkien from a few very vile associations that were made against my will, which has been...intense, but I'm happy to say, largely successful. This update is basically your humble webmistress saying: I'm still here, Evenstar is still here and still unfinished, and nothing is closing anytime soon, despite the hellish year it's been. May the future be brighter, and the new year be infinitely kinder -- as kind as Arwen ♥
